1. Lightweight
Compared to more than 100kg/ m2 of Clay brick, aerated concrete board etc, the average weight of MgO Wallboard is Just 35~40kg/m2. It is not only convenient in transportation, but also reduce the load-bearing of foundation and frame girder.
2. Fireproof
MgO Wallboard consists of Expanded Polystyrene(EPS) and the surface boards. The surface board is made from firproof materials, like MgO, MgCl2, which effectively slow down the burning speed. For EPS, it is a kind of non-combustible material.
Take Model A90 of MgO Wallboard for example, the fireproof coefficient is 2.1 hours, which has exceeded the common requested standard 2 hours.

The Mgo Wallboard has a good performance in sound insulation. When it is 1000HZ, the boards can reduce the noise by 41db.
