1.      Lightweight

Compared to more than 100kg/ m² of Clay brick, aerated concrete board etc, the average weight of MgO Wallboard is Just 35~40kg/m²_. It is not only convenient in transportation, but also reduce the load-bearing of foundation and frame girder.

2.      Fireproof

MgO Wallboard consists of Expanded Polystyrene(EPS) and the surface boards. The surface board is made from firproof materials, like MgO, MgCl₂, which effectively slow down the burning speed. For EPS, it is a kind of non-combustible material.

Take Model A90 of MgO Wallboard for example, the fireproof coefficient is 2.1 hours, which has exceeded the common requested standard 2 hours.

The Mgo Wallboard has a good performance in sound insulation. When it is 1000HZ, the boards can reduce the noise by 41db.
